Jessica Wetz (Wetzstein) is a 30-year-old multi-disciplinary entertainer, activist, and community builder based in Vancouver, Canada, Turtle Island.

Wetz began writing social science op-eds on minimizing suffering in relationships between others, the self, and environment. 2014 her blog evolved into videos styled as FaceTime calls ranting with your wild best friend. 2020 she achieved international prominence on tiktok for her signature storytelling style. Shockingly hilarious and digestible life lessons you didn't know you needed.

Amassing  1,120,000 followers, 7,000 videos and empowering others to "be the ripple effect". This expanded into professional photography and glamour modelling. 2023 Wetz videos on addiction went viral, and the disabled community solved 27-year misdiagnosed genetic conditions that had been extensively mistreated as trauma and hysteria.

Wetz now platforms this info to help other MD patients (misdiagnosed and medically diagnosed). Politicians, researchers, and journalists reach out to hear her insight and learn about the "Wetz Wave" community.

Wetz work has been featured by MTV, Smithsonian Magazine, Cancelled Podcast, HuffPost, Buzzfeed, Daily Hive, CTV, CBC, and many more. She has interviewed political leaders and been interviewed by doctors, academic researchers, and journalists.

Most notorious series and top 200 million videos include Disability Cups, Abortion, Police Brutality, Medical Binders, Eye Pain, Claw Ribs, Labia Tears, Islamophobia, Addiction, Anti-Racism, Lesbian Makeup, Child Abuse, Prolapse, Religion, Pre-teen Sex Ed, Gun Reform, and Looking 30 at 13.

Activism for human rights issues and sensitive topics others avoid has resulted in frequent account bans. Referred to as a "neurodivergent translator" and "mirror to the misunderstood impossible to look away from" amongst the "Wetz Wave" community.
